The Warren Association of Baptists helped to coordinate a spanish-speaking ministry on the north side of Bowling Green called Nueva Vida. We continue to support this ministry logistically as an outreach to the hispanic community of the area.
We began building the Nueva Vida Baptist Worship Center in 2006 after four years of growth by the community in space provided by Forest Park Baptist Church. They had grown to an average attendance of forty and came to need their own space. A construction contractor donated 6.5 acres of land within walking distance of the largest Hispanic population center in Bowling Green, and the Association purchased an additional half acre to give access to Old Barren River Road.
Now, this location provides multiple ministries for the community, including its worship services, English as a second language classes, soccer fields, and even Spanish language seminary extension classes.
Warren Association supports sharing Jesus not just within Warren County, but all over the globe. John Mark Toby, the Warren Association’s Director of Missions, is pictured above with a group in Kenya from 2014.
